M/V Le Mahé
Phuket Liveaboards Boat
MV LE MAHE, was specially built by a diver for liveaboard. Launched in 2002, she was transformed and refitted into 2007. Length of 26m, 5,2 m broad, it is propelled by two engines of 440 CV. Hers cruising speed is of 13 knots, and has two compressors BAUER on board. She is equipped with electronic means of navigation: GPS, Sounders.
She has eight cabins on board with a private bathroom. You have the choice between six double cabins and two twin cabins, all with individual air conditioning, fan, TV and DVD player. The six cabins of the main deck have panoramic windows and a private balcony of 2 m out of 80 cms.
The communication is ensured by system of radio operator SB. One finds on board a complete pharmacy, oxygen kit, life jackets, extinguishers. The boat can welcome up to 16 divers.
The rooftop saloon “chill lounge” is a shadow peaceful area, arranged with mattress and TV where you can rest between the diving. The solarium is also located at this level. It is covered with comfortable mattresses for a sunbath or to observe stars.
The corner meal is located on the upper deck. It is an open air space, convivial, sheltered sun, aired, composed of a U-shaped table and benches. The cooker adores prepare delicious local dishes! This space is doubled of a coffee corner with table and benches, it is the place where one finds oneself for the briefing.
For your comfort, the platform of diving was thought in order to be equipped without embarrassment. The compressors were placed in the hold, to avoid to the maximum noise pollutions during inflation.
Tour Leader and divemasters are multilingual, the boat crew is Thai. The comfort of the customers is important and group of four/five divers maximum are organized according to their levels and experiment. The guides are affiliated either to PADI, or with SSI or CMAS. They all are Emergency First Responder and respectful of the security rules.
